From the Douro Marina, we go up the Douro River in the waters now tamed by the dams and once navigated by the typical "Barco Rabelo" that, from the slopes of the Douro, brought to Oporto for almost two centuries, the Best Wine in the World!

Crossing the Crestuma Dam (47 ft) lunch is then served at the riverside restaurant, Figurino do Douro in Melres.

Once back on the "Arraes" we return and accompany the Douro long journey from its source in Soria, Spain all the way to the Atlantic.
